Mama makes a mean pudding.

I love pudding. Today I borrowed a 385 page book of pudding recipes. I just finished reading it and currently have about one third of the recipes picked out to make. As Lella says, We'll be eating pudding for a long time. What a joy!
Zee posted these photos of Mamy and her childhood dog Anna, she's the coolest and she makes mean puddings.

Buoyancy.

The simple function of inhaling and exhaling is magnified in water, the inflation of the lungs causes you to rise to the surface ever so slightly. Which got me thinking about how people sink, so I guess the really amazing thing in this situation is oxygen.
I'm not going to say that the world is a strange place because that has been said many times before, which makes it a lot less strange.
Which gets me thinking, if something is said to be strange too many times it loses its strangeness entirely. Words have such power in distorting ideas. I'm a little bit lost.

The fact of the matter is. Part eleven

I searched desperately for a fact about basketball to go with this photo, but the fact is there isn't anything interesting about it, or I am yet to know.

Melvin state of mind.

Today when Lella and I got off the train and walked home in the hot hot sun we saw a sausage dog standing outside a bread shop. Before either of us realised Lella was saying "owwwwww" and I was shouting "helloooooo".
If there is one thing that I know that I want it is Melvin Franfurt Snr. Though we havn't met yet, and we may not for many years, I know we'll be in love. We'll wear matching crovats while we skate along board walks. We'll meet Lella and her chubby dog, Badgely, for coffee. Badge and Melvs will play for hours while Lella and I do the things we do. Melvin and I shall drive along in our Volvo station wagon, listening to sweet tunes and feeling the wind in our hair. What a life Melvin, I can't wait to share it with you.

The horses in the sky

I'm going up to the horses in the sky thats where I'm gonna' go when I die, I'm going up to the horses in the sky, do do do.
Yesterday on the way home from work Zee and I had the pleasure of seeing a wonderful cloud formation. Yes, a horse. In slow traffic I looked up and there it was, the prettiest cloud I have ever seen. So here you are my pretties, I tried to capture the moment as best I could.

Infinite.

We're almost one month in to the eleventh year of the century. War and Peace is two hundred and twenty one pages in. My patchwork quilt is countless pieces of hand sewed stitches away. The sun rises and falls and we get library cards in between. Borrowing, returning. Borrowing, returning.
Lella, informed me today that Mishka is twenty two months old. Seeing him sitting in a cafe drinking babyccinos and waving to strangers, its quite odd when I actually think about how fast time has gone.
Life just isn't relaxing without my easy-listening radio station. Nothing can calm me down like some instrumentals and some classic tunes.
Oh boy!
"It's all vanity, it's all an illusion, everything except that infinite sky"
-War and Peace, Tolstoy.
I need to get cracking on that reading list.

Dayum.

I'm not a follower of the "GaGa" clan, but I truly admired her 'Coca-Cola' curling rolls and cigarette glasses in the 'Telephone' film-clip. She has some sweet costumes thats for sure.
