Victoria Justice.

... How sweet.

Indeed.

"A boy with no hair took my heart. I was warned, but I was enchanted none-the-less. He taught me cool tricks and expanded my vocabulary. He said nice things and called me 'Mein Schatz'. I wrote him letters but he never used the postal service. Every time I saw him my stomach convulsed, I guess thats called butterflies. His embrace was like nothing else, like the rest of the world had never existed and that was all. I didn't like it when he corrected me or said that I shouldn't speak in different languages because I wasn't very good. Then came the day that he told me that he didn't even know what I ate for breakfast, or if I even ate breakfast. I told him that I eat muesli with yoghurt. He said that it was just an example, that his phrase wasn't literal.
Now, he is a world away, speaking foreign languages to other girls."

Quiche for all.

Every man thinks of changing the world, but no man thinks of changing himself.- Tolstoy.

After close to eighteen years I finally like Quiche. I like this quote a lot and I thought in quite a shallow sense that it fitted perfectly with my new love of quiche. I need to find a dish that I can make that doesn't include pastry or my metabolism is going to catch up severely.

Hide + seek.

Words, like nature, half reveal and half conceal the soul within. - Lord Alfred Tennyson.

Waiting.

Today I spent some time in the backyard. It is not an easy thing to do in this climate, however today the sun decided to shine and melt the frost. As I sat on the grass I looked up and noticed that I could see the beginnings, as in almost invisible beginnings, of Spring blossoms on the plum tree. Seeing the delightful little buds made me realise that warm seasons are not as far off as I feared. I also rode Lella's old bike, which was a little scary at first but not at all once I conquered the feat.

Run.

If you're are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life. -Oscar Wilde.

I want to go skating. I want to feel the wind rushing though my hair and cooling my blushing face. Though it isn't the same whenever I hear the Shakespearian phrase "run on your knife", I think of this feeling. I want to look back and see you analysing me. I want Summer and Spring.
